One standout mission is located at a massive dam in the La Joya region, where players must figure out a way to retrieve a hidden military stash.
Locating the Dam and Starting the Hunt
To begin this objective, you must head over to the La Joya region situated within the eastern territory of Este. Once you arrive at the massive Yaran dam structure, look for a small maintenance building that triggers the mission start note. Reading the document alerts you to a tragic accident involving a worker who fell while holding the vital access keys.
The main obstacle prevents you from simply walking down to retrieve the key because the worker is stuck out of reach. You will need to interact with the dam machinery to alter the environment and lower the water hazard safely. This initial phase sets up the cerebral challenge before you can secure your final weapon reward.
Solving the Control Room Puzzle
Your first primary goal involves gaining entry into the locked control room overlooking the dam structure. Head around the side of the building and locate a window that gives you a clear line of sight to the interior door lock. Use a silenced weapon or a well-placed shot to destroy the padlock through the glass window, allowing you to walk right through the front door.
Inside the office, you will discover multiple interactive buttons and valves that must be activated in a specific sequence to function. Start by pressing the button situated next to the wall calendar, then turn around to interact with the console machine button. Finish the sequence by turning the large hydraulic pressure valve, which sets the external machinery into motion.
Retrieving the Keycard and Claiming the Treasure
Once the sequence is successfully completed, return to the main control panel and press the final activation button. This action triggers the dam mechanism to lower a portion of the heavy gate and brings the worker's body into reach. Carefully drop down onto the newly adjusted platform on the correct side to avoid taking lethal falling damage.
Search the deceased worker to collect the essential Dam Shed Keycard needed to open the final storage room back up top. Climb back up using your grappling hook or nearby ladders to return to the initial starting area of the facility. Use the newly acquired keycard on the locked shed door to finally unlock the military chest containing your valuable gear upgrades.
